Linear

The AISafe Linear integration lets you export findings as Linear issues from the AISafe dashboard, keeping your engineering team's workflow in their preferred issue tracker.

How it works​

Connecting Linear to your AISafe organization gives AISafe the ability to create issues in your Linear workspace. From any assessment's findings page, you can click Create issue to export a finding as a Linear issue. The issue includes the finding title, description, severity, evidence, and a link back to the finding in AISafe.

Connecting Linear​

  1. Navigate to Integrations in the AISafe dashboard.
  2. Click Connect Linear and authorize AISafe in your Linear workspace.
  3. Choose the default team and project where exported issues should land.
  4. After connection, the Create issue button appears on finding pages.

Exporting findings​

From a finding detail page or the findings list:

  1. Click Create issue (available to managers and above).
  2. Select the target Linear team and project (defaults to your configured values).
  3. AISafe creates the Linear issue and links it back to the finding.

AISafe records each export attempt on the finding, tracking the issue URL and status. If an issue exists for a finding, AISafe shows the existing issue link rather than creating a duplicate. For recurring findings with the same non-empty root-cause fingerprint, AISafe also reuses an existing Linear issue for the same export target across scans.
